Missing wifi - W3 810

I just purchased a factory refurbished Iconia W3 810. Since turning it on I have been unable to connect to any wifi network. It tells me no connections are available. When I click to troubleshoot, I get the error, "The Broadcom 802.11bgn Wireless SDIO Adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware-related problems"

I have tried uninstalling the drivers and they reinstall with the same result. Under the driver in device in device manager, it says "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

When I go to wireless settings, Airplane mode is off and under Wireless devices, the only thing listed us Bluetooth. Nothing about wifi.

I have tried looking online for a solution but with no luck so any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello gooder, If you have a warranty I would use it quickly. You do have a copy of the drivers package to reinstall, right? I ask because the drivers are not included in the recovery disc.

Also there are USB to Ethernet adapters that may help you get online.

I agree, it might just be corrupted drivers, but refurbished machine have a greater likelihood that the problem will be hardware. Better to clear it up early.
