M1935 won't boot and has 6 short beeps

My Aspire M1935 won't boot-up and only has 6 short beeps and no display on the monitor. I even tried to re-seat and change the RAM, removed the CMOS battery but still the same problem.

If it happen to boot properly, I can't shutdown or restart the unit since it will not boot-up again and has 6 short beeps. Any further advice on this issue? I tried googling for some clue on the 6 short beep codes but can't find some clues (I suspect something wrong with the mobo).

Thank you

    Hello aqasbn,

Your bios setup utility is Award(AFUDOS or AFUSWIND=Asus based Award BIOS).

So, 6 beeps means "Keyboard controller BAT command failed". This may indicate a problem with keyboard controller initialization (PS/2). I think the super I/O controller has an issue (motherboard).

Have you try to clean the inside of your desktop with an air duster or a spray duster?

Hi! I am using a usb keyboard and the unit is almost dust free since it is inside the server room. There are times after turning on/off several times it boots properly.
