Guys ,my laptop (Acer Aspire Timeline X 5830tg) started to lag too much from last week.but today while I was playing some games it suddenly went blank and restarted itself but it didnt show the 'starting Windows' logo, instead its showing 'No bootable device- insert boot disk and press any key'.it never used to show this until today.when I checked in YouTube for its solution they showed me to remove the back and check for any loose connection.but I didn't want to do it cause I wasn't sure and I thought maybe you guys could help me. If you guys say the solution is the same as the one in YouTube. Then I'll try to do that, but if there's any solution please share it with me..thank you

This usually happens when the BIOS "forgets" (like a dead motherboard/BIOS battery) the drive configuration OR when the actual hard drive becomes corrupted or defective.

Check your BIOS and ensure the proper boot device is selected and enabled.
Restart your system and keep tapping F2 as soon as it starts to get in the BIOS. There you can check if the correct boot device is selected.
If everything is fine in the BIOS, or if there's no hard disk showing up in the BIOS, it means it's either a corrupt hard drive or the connections might be loose, so you might have to open it up to take a look.
NOTE: If it's still in warranty, you may have to contact Acer support, as opening the system may void the warranty.
