Acer 5530G CPU upgrade

Hello everyone,
I own the laptop specified in the subject. I have for 7 yrs and it's never caused me any problems. It has worked like a charm ever since.

Nevertheless, after all these years, the laptop has started kind of lagging. Animations are no longer as smooth as they used to be - windows 8 lags now.

I have taken the laptop apart, dusted it off, reapplied the thermal compound on the cpu. It seems to be working fine.

I'd like to replace some components, so as to refresh it - I can't afford a new laptop.

The parts I would replace/upgrade are the cpu, ram, dvd burner, keyboard and possibly the graphics card, but I believe this last one part wouldn't be cost effective, seen the low performance of cards similar to mine.

My current specs:

Amd Turion Ultra X2 ZM-80 2.1 Ghz
2x2gb ddr2 667mhz ram
Ati Radeon 3650 512 mb ddr3 (?) ram
O.S. are Windows 8 and Ubuntu 13.10
I'll be mainly using it for programming (no gaming, maybe some light photo/video editing)

The upgraded parts would be and their respective cost:
Amd Turion Ultra X2 ZM-86 2.4 Ghz
2x2gb ddr2 800 mhz ram (there are no ddr2 4gb memory sticks, plus I'm pretty sure the laptop supports up to 4 gb anyway)
Blu Ray dvd rw combo (the pc smoothly plays full hd videos from youtube)
And possibly an hd3650 (the 1 gb version)

Now the point of all this is not a performance gain but a mere component refresh without breaking the bank (as long as I don't replace the video card of course)

Does anyone know if my laptop supports the cpu I mentioned? For the rest of the components shouldn't be any problems as for bios compatibility, should it?

Thanks for all the replies.

Oh I forgot to mention the prices. I can get the zm-86 cpu for 50 euros.
