Acer v7-582pg-9856 Recovery Disk/USB Needed--Regular One Does Not Work

Hello,

I need help getting a recovery disk for this particular Notebook. Because it has a SSD for the Operating System and a HDD for everything else, using the standard windows 8 recovery/reinstallation disk (a USB in this case) does not work. It results in a system that has two seperate disk drives (C and D) under My Computer, unlike the way it came from factory with default. I've messed with the registry to make some stuff work fine (installing programs on D instead of C by default) but some programs and features are just wonky and broken,

Please help me or give me guidance on how to proceed, I'd rather not make a warranty claim and send the laptop back if I have to. I've had nothing but problems with this laptop since I got it (BSODs and random crashes after Windows 8.1 installation, weird wireless issues from the start, driver issues). To this day, installing touchpad drivers over and over agin refuses to make the touchpad multitouch.

Thanks.

I strongly suggest you at least try phone and chat support under warranty and see where it goes. You don't have to send it back if you don't feel like it.
