Never had problems until yesterday! Kept it charged overnight, turned it on in the morning and it said 1% for both batteries. It has since died and I cannot get it to charge. Lights do not come on. I've tried the power cord it came with, tried my phone charger, tried the usb connection to my laptop.

The problem may be with the adapter, or could be an actual hardware problem with the tablet. The W510 is not designed to charge from the computer, and the adapter would need to be the correct voltage and amperage. I recommend contacting technical support to inquire about replacing the adapter.

I am having the same problem.  In the past couple weeks, the tablet would sometimes fail to charge overnight.  Now it does not charge at all and there is no indicator light.  I replaced the charger with Acer's $40 replacement charger, and that one does not work either.  I have cleaned the contacts, and tried wiggling and jiggling the charger every way possible, but no luck.  Any suggestions?  Searching other forums, this seems to be common, but I have seen no solution.

One more note: The reason I bought the replacement adapter was that neither the tablet nor the keyboard charging lights go on when they are plugged in.

Unfortunately, if it will not power on with a new charger and the lights won't come on, there is most likely a hardware problem with the tablet. I recommend you contact technical support in your region to inquire about service options.

Thanks for the reply.  My biggest issue with this is that neither the keyboard or the tablet are lighting up, and both worked just fine a week ago.  I find it hard to believe that both fail at the same time and need service.

Repair is apparently not an option since the repair form informed me that it will be $249 for any repair plus shipping.
