Aspire One touchpad sensitivity WORKAROUND or solution

A usable workaround.  It has allowed  me to type without any flakey,erratic,jumpy actions or frustration.

 

It requires:

 

1.  An external mouse. I bought a Logitech M317

2.  a piece of 1/2" bubble wrap, folded to double thickness, large enough to cover the entire lower deck of the keyboard.

3.  tape

 

 I taped a double thickness of 1/2" bubble wrap across the bottom of the keyboard; this allows you to rest your palms while typing.

 

That's all.  I am going to continue to try to refine it, a single thickness or a thin piece of foam, anti-stat.

 

IT WORKS!!!!  SO it is a HARDWARE not a software.
