Acer Services Causing Error 0x80072efe

New Aspire V3-5518-8469 WIndows 8.  Attempting to update windows and windows Apps, downlod stops with error 0x80072efe.  After several days and much internet research I isolated these two services as being the cause:

CCDMonitorService

 Device Fast-laneService

When those are disabled, windows updates correctly. What are these services and how can I correct this problem?

I've thried that and many other articles. I have a stack of them on my desk, so far no luck. I am attempting to either return the computer to the store where I bought it in exchange for another brand with Windows 7 or get ACER to honor their warranty and fix the problem. It has done this right out of the box and performing several recoveries has not made any difference. It is not my wireless network because I can get to the internet, and I have 2 other computers that work fine. Microsoft claims it is a hardware/driver issue and ACER tells me it is a Microsoft issue. As it is right now, the computer is nothing but an expensive paperweight!
