Win 7 Starter Recovery disks to USB failed installation

Hello community,

I'm a proud owner of an Acer Aspire One 522 netbook that I've been using for a couple of years.

A couple of months ago however I installed Windows XP on it without realizing that I just erased my only way to create a recovery usb/disk.

So after contacting the helpful people @ Acer Customer service they sent me a full Win 7 Starter recovery disk set...however the Acer Aspire One 522 has no way to play DVDs or CDs!

Now I'm stuck trying to convert the disks to USB format and I actually managed to squeeze them together by:

1. Using WiNToBootic to put the bootable disk on the USB

2. Copying all content from the recovery base disks onto the USB

Everything actually works out, it boots and installs until it reaches 99%, then it keeps asking for Disk 2 while all the content is sitting there!

Is there anyone that could possibly know the solution for this problem?

OK, when it reaches 99% and asks for the 2nd disk, how about pulling out and re-inserting the stick? Or, if that doesn't work, how about NOT squeezing both disks onto one stick? That is, use two sticks.
