R7 Ezel rotation issue solved

Since I received this laptop the screen rotation has been unreliable. The majority of the time the screen just would not flip when I turned it around. Occasionaly when I finaly got it to "flip" it would get "stuck" upside down when I flipped it back.

This past weekend I finaly decided to try to get to the bottom of it.
I noticed that, when I put the screen down flat (tablet mode) I got the "auto rotate on" popup, but as soon as I raised the screen from that position I received "auto rotate off" notification.
The solution was pretty simple. I ran services.msc and found the ezel sensor service and disabled it.
I went to the display properties (I believe it is the screen where you can change the resolution) and ensured the native function for auto rotate was enabled, and rotation has worked reliably from that point on.
Apparently (at least in my case) acer's propriatary software for managing screen roation was conflicting with the native windows function which accomplishes the same thing.

Not sure why I had this problem, and it seems no one else has had to do this.
Anyway, I hope it helps someone else.
