Replacement hard drive AO756

I have been trying to find a replacement drive for an AO756 netbook but am not having any luck. There are quite a few available on ebay for other models, but I have no idea if they would fit, and the one vendor I found that says they specifically have that drive wants $145 for it, which is imo way too much. Is there a compatibility or suitible replacement list for Acer's somewhere? Or does it really matter than much from one machine to the next, as long as they are sata drives?

Thanks.

there should not be any problem with any SATA HDD or SSD as long as you observe that this model uses the thin line 7mm high drives vice the standard 9mm drives (other than that the usual rule is buy the largest one you can afford).

always remember if you are going to change drives make sure to make an image copy of your old drive so you can restore the hidden <PQservice> factory restore partition or you will not be able to do a clean re-install via alt+F10 or burn a new set of recovery disks.
