hello,

I recently updated my laptop to Windows 8.

now my touchpad isn't working correct anymore. the disable soundbutton is off. it work, but when I disable sound via the touchpad and enable it via the desktop the touchpad says it's still disabled. the volume slide doesn't work normal anymore either, I can only change the volume by tapping the upper and down parts of it. when I slide from the top, down the volume stays going up, because I first tapped at the top. I already tried removing the battery and all that kind of tricks. I can't seem to find a driver for this thing and the driver section from acer isn't working properly now.

I hope someone can help me

The Aspire 8930G has a specialized touchpad and other features that require specialized drivers.  We would recommend sticking to the supported operating systems for this model only.  It is not supported by Acer for the Windows 8 upgrade due to these hardware incompatibilities.
