Hi my name is Han and I bought a timelinex 3830tg a year before.
Since then I had no problem enjoying sound from both internal speakers and using my headphones.
Problem came a week ago when my internal speakers stopped working.
I went to the closest computer help center and asked them for help.
After a day, they told me that the hardware itself is fine and all the circuits were working.
They recommended me to format my harddisk and reinstall windows.
Since I didn't want to go through all that trouble in backing up my data, I tried deleting the installed
sound driver and reinstalling the sound driver downloaded from the acer support site.
After the reinstall, I still couldn't get sound from my internal speakers.
Later on, I looked at my speaker settings and found something odd.

For some reason windows was unable to detect the internal speakers within the laptop and was instead
picking up the 3.5mm line output as its main output for sound. Is there a separate driver for the internal
speakers? i think the audio driver posted in the acer website is only able to install the driver for
line outputs
Thank You
