can I upgrade the processor on a acer aspire 5349 ?

I was researching this model and it comes with an HM65 chipset wich support i7 2640 processor , this processor itself come in a FCPGA988 as the OEM wich is a Celeron B800 that comes from Factory in this ACER ASPIRE 5349 ,as far as I can find it should work however my consern is the BIOS and if will be an issue if I go ahead and replace the processor

    The power supply circuitry could be an issue too depending on the TDP of the new processor vs the old one. I'd research to see if that model was ever actually sold from Acer with a faster processor than the celeron (or one with a higher TDP) with that motherboard/laptop model.

     

    I'd like to know the same thing myself (for the V3-571) with a 35w TDP i5M. At some point I'd like to move to a 45w TDP i7QM. So I'm curious to know as well what models generally get supported in their BIOSes.
