I bought this laptop for my mother december last year and she has barely used it because she is still using the old one. It was well charged by the time I visited her the last time and so to be sure she hasn't touched it since the last time I came it was in the bag I left it. But I wanted to help install skype and a couple of other apps only to discover it won't come on. I thought the power ran down so I plugged the AC in and voila it came on. I checked the battery and it reads 70% how come? I decided to yank the plug off just to see if it would switch to power but it just went off as soon as I took the AC off. What can I do? I have tried resetting the power by poking the little battery reset button but it didn't work. I had to take it with me but it is pretty useless. I bought it from the USA, now it is with me in Nigeria. Anyone experienced this before or is it just me? I'll appreciate any form of assistance.

It seems to be an issue with the motherboard. Since you purchased this laptop in USA, you need to send the laptop to USA repair center. There is no repair center in Nigeria.
