fan replacement

I have an Aspire 5810 T2 with a fan that is getting noisy.

I have found replacement fans on the web, as well as replacement fans with heat sink.

My question is: Do you have to replace the whole fan/heat sink assembly, or can you just replace the fan?

The fan on the 5810TZ is integrated with the heatsink and is supplied as a single unit.
However, if you can find the correct fan (it is an offset design) I would have thought it possible to strip the unit and fit the new fan to the existing heatsink assembly but be aware that there could be unforeseen complications. It may be a better bet to use a complete assembly if you can find one.
