Reverting BIOS for Aspire One KAV60

Hello!
So I was pretty stupid and while trying to solve a small hardware issue (Which did get fixed), updated the BIOS from the support section. Now I'm in over my ears with lots of other little problems (USBs malfunctioning every 10 minutes, forcing a reset. Power being ultra sensitive and making the screen flicker constantly, being slower, etc.) and I was wondering if there was any way to revert the bios to the previous factory version. The current problem BIOS I have on it is v1.26.
Thanks for your patience and support!

You haven't indicated your windows versions.

So I advise you to reflash your bios on MS-DOS (more sure).

To flash the bios with MS-DOS:

1- Make a MS-DOS Bootable Flash Drive (USB key) with FlashBoot (Demo) or How to make a MS-DOS bootable flash drive

    2- Download the bios file.zip

    3- Copy FLASH--.EXE, KAV60.BAT and KAV60.fd on USB key.

    4- Boot on USB key.

5- When you are on MS-DOS, type the command KAV60.BAT

6- If it's flash successfully, reboot your system (normally, it reboot automatically).

7- Enter on the bios setup utility, "Load optimazed defaults".

Also, what I should of put in the first post:
Would taking it apart and resetting the CMOS battery solve my problem? Is there a way to do this without taking it apart?
