Windows 8 OEM to SSD

Hi
So I have bought an acer v3-772g it came with an oem version of windows 8
I want to buy an ssd 
can I transfer the windows 8 to the ssd without problem 
or do I need to buy a full version of windows 8

ssd retails for 75$ a hyperx 3k kingston 120gb

    Hi Blazer!

     

    Yes - there are 2 ways:

     

    1. If you've made your recovery media (usually a 16GB flash drive) - you can use this to install a "factory setting" of Windows on your PC. If you've not yet made one, do it now. If you ever get any hard drive problems or need to reinstall Windows, its a godsend!

     

    2. Image your computer using free image making software, like Macrium Reflect or Paragon - or even the built in Windows software - then use that image on your new SSD.
