S7 turning on and off

I bought my s7 5 months ago. I went to use it today, and it started turning on and off by itself. I tried to press the power button and it was depressed. My guess it that it is sensitive to use because the button is pushing on a mechanism that forces it to turn on and off. Did this happen to you? Could this be a motherboard issue?
They refuse to give me a refund even though I am still under warranty.
I am a student and cannot afford to not have a computer for weeks while they "fix" this issue. It is clearly a defect on their end.
Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi sdacer

The best advice is to send it in for repair, but as you cannot wait for this, the only suggestion I have is to take it to your local reputable PC store to see if they can fix it any quicker.

Obviously, you will have to pay for it, but it might be the best option if you can't wait.

Perhaps you can borrow a laptop whist it is in for repair??
