Lock icon keeps appearing in lower center of my screen.

I have an Acer Iconiatab A200 with Android 4.0.3 and I am having an issue that I need help with please. There is an icone that keeps appearing in the lower center of my screen. It is a square black icon with a lsrge circle arrow surrounding a lock. When it appears I try to click n it and it does nothing. It keeps appearing and then dissapearing regulary. Please help if you can. Thank you. Oh, and sorry for any typos.

Is it possibly the notification icon pointing out that your screen has been locked in portrait/landscape mode, if so it can be turned off in settings .
