Problems with Factory restore

So, I had a few problems with my Acer 5935g a few years ago with it locking up a lot, and being unable to switch between the Intel and Nvidia graphics cards, (It didn't seem to detect the Nvidia one at all) so I bought a chromebook for doing homework and stuff on and totally forgot about my laptop for a bit.

So now about a year later I decided to factory restore the Acer and start again, only when I tried I got a blue screen during the restore process, and now I can't seem to do anything, if I retry the factory restore it comes up with this error message:

status: 0xc00000e9

info: An unexpected I/0 error has occurred.

Is there anything I can do to salvage my laptop or is it a lost cause?

Oh also, If I just leave the startup running I get 'Windows boot manager' with this message:

File: \Boot\BCD

status: 0x000000f

Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data.
