I just recently received (July 2013) an Iconia A700 tablet as part of the E-machines lawsuit and i need some help here. after i got the tablet it automaticly updated itself to Jellybean 4.1 which was really cool and it worked great but lately (last Month or so) every time i boot it up it comes up into Safe mode. I talked to Customer support and all they could suggest is what He called a "Hard Reset" at first I resisted that option since I had a lot of data on it but finally gave in and did it. I restored the data and the apps and the next time I booted it up (2 days later) its back into Safe mode. so I did it again with the same result and did it again well you get the idea and here i am again into safe mode I've done some research online and determined that an app is responsible for this loop but how do i determine which one is doing it?? everytime I do the reset i put the data and apps back at the same time so there is no "Last one installed" option here  Please tell me theres an app for this???

I would hate to think that E-machines is gonna get some kind of revenge here so I'm begging can anyone help me here???

Sound like you might want to manually add some apps in first before doing a full restore, so you could try and narrow it down. It could also be app interaction, which would make it even tougher to track down.

Strip out all the apps you can till it's bare bones only, run the tablet and then add in the ones you want, one by one with a time interval between each one till it locks up again.
