Multiple Issues on Aspire 5750

I have a similiar issue with my Acer Aspire 5750-6636 that started after a windows update.

Intel core i3-2310M

(2.1GHz, 3MB L3 cache)

Intel HD Graphics 3000 up to 1760 dynamic video memory

4GB DDR3 emory

DVD Super ulti DL drive

Western Digital HDD-320GB

Windows 7 Home Premium SP1

This machine has had issues before similar to this differance is the blue screen crash that resulted in sending the machine in for repairs and replacement of the HDD and Web Cam after running Windows media Center. (while still under warranty)

This most recent issue is just that the machine starts up and then starts to beep continuosly until the Advanced Boot Options Menu comes up. (no longer under warranty-of course)

After I make a choice the system will start normally and seems to operate correctly.

But that brings to mind another issue that began after the system restore/recovery from both erecovery and system discs, and a replacement of the HDD from WD.

Now, many of the keys on the keyboard do not work correctly.  Checks have been made and cannot find the errors that are causing the keyboard issue.  This was not a problem before.

would like to know if anything can be done to further troubleshoot this issue or fix the startup problem.

Continual beeping could be a 'stuck key' issue with the keyboard.

Can you elaborate on which keys are not working properly?

What else have you attempted to do with the system to isolate what is going on?

Have you attempted to connect an external keyboard?
