Aspire v5-122p

My new Acer is not very good. I'm really sorry to say, but it is simply too slow to be of any use. I have done all the things suggested to help speed it up, but it is still considerably slower that my dirt cheap 7 yr old Toshiba. Mine has the AMD A4 processor and frankly, I wish I could return it. The retailer who sold it to me will not accept returns on a pc once software has been installed on it, but how can you tell if anything is wrong until you do exactly that?

 

Really, really disappointed to have to throw away a brand new laptop, but I can't see what else I can do. I've been offered £65 for a brand new £300 machine.

 

I will never, ever be buying from Acer again.

Have you tried contacting Acer support for assistance? The AMD A4 processor is not particularly a slow processor, so there may be an underlying problem with your laptop, especially as you've tried things to help speed it up.

 

The Aspire-V5-122P is a decent laptop, so you shouldn't be having major problems.
