Installing MS Office 2010 Click to Run after new HDD install

The OEM HDD on my Acer Aspire 5253 has been failing so I recently purchased a new HDD and installed Win 7. I noticed on my old laptop I had MS Office 2010 Click to Run on the Q drive. I bought this laptop used from a private seller so naturally I didn't get any discs with it. So I'm unsure how to get this product installed on the new HDD.

The old HDD still spins up and boots the OS...so if I can copy the base install somehow to external storage then load it to my new HDD this is an option. However I'm not familar with MS Office packaged as it is on the Q drive.

I haven't found much of anything looking through Google offering tips. Any thoughts?

    Hi jlde2001

Was your copy of Office 2010 one of the full versions or the just the starter version?

If it was one of the full ones, IE, Home & Student, then you will have to buy a new copy. If it was just the starter one, you can download it from here.

    Hope this helps!
