Acer M498G - Setting default boot drive

On my Acer M498G, I disconnected some drives and reconnected the same drives.  Upon bootup, I reset the boot drive via F12.  However, I subsequently need to set the boot drive everytime I boot up.  Not sure how to keep from having to set the boot drive everytime I turn the computer on.  How do I set the default drive, after doing it once using F12?

  • At bootup, enter your BIOS by pressing <DEL> before POST completes.
Select 'Advanced BIOS Features' followed by '1st Boot Device'.
Select the drive that you require and press <F10> to save and exit.

    Thanks.   This works.

I actually had to hit F12 at bootup, then select 'Advanced BIOS Features'.  The boot drive was not listed for selection.  Don't know why.  So I hit F9 to select the reset the boot drive, and the correct drive appeared.

Everything is back to normal now.
