To be honest I've registered here only to warn everyone from buying Acer products, because when something brakes and you send it to Service Center (with warranty) you will probably receive your product more broken than it was before...
In my case - I bought Acer ICONIA W 700. It had serious issues with WIFI connection. Despite trying various solutions suggested on this very forum nothing helped. So I've sent tablet to Service Center. They switched the main board and sent the tablet back. Unfortunately as I received tablet I spotted two small punctual damages on the back of the tablet and after trying to call family on Skype I founded that the front camera is not working. After checking in Device Manager it appeared that the front camera is not present at all. I figured that after switching main board they somehow forgot to connect the front camera. Next day, in the morning, I have reported to Service Center damaged back cover and lack of front camera after receiving tablet after the repair they conducted and I’ve sent the tablet back do Service Center.
They have responded that the back cover was unprofessionally opened, so this cannot be repaired within warranty and they offered only paid repair (!!!).
Never again Acer product!
