Is recomended the update from windows 8 to windows 8.1 Aspire V3-772G ?

As i have seen there some complains about the versions of bios and drivers  so problems in hardware functions when update from windows 8 to windows 8.1 Aspire V3-772G, so please can anyone acer expert describe the procedure and i mean : according the instructions  http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/update-to-windows81  we must :

1.Update the BIOS & antivirus to the latest version.

My system has 1.12 , so do i must instal 1.13 as refer the instructions ?

I ask because i read to the forum some problems with some versions of the bios, to keyboard keys functionality, etc

Or does the 1.12 works ok to win 8.1 too?

Has anyone made those changes yet? (i saw people with older versions of bios for example from 1.08 to 1.11 etc but what about the curent 1.12 to 1.13?  does any issues appear?)

2.(as instructions refer) Please uninstall any Intel and/or NVIDIA VGA drivers before updating to Windows 8.1.

same too question for the drivers do i must unistall them first ? and the new will installed from the acer web page , or from the manufacrureres ie Intel, NVdia ?

if the second , can an expert make here a catalogue with the links that must used :

for example if needed new bios > .....

Intel > link

 NVIDIA  > link

etc

So does the the update from windows 8 to windows 8.1 Aspire V3-772G recomended and in what conditions please?

Does the update from windows 8 to windows 8.1 Aspire V3-772G is a succesive in bios , drivers and functionality mode a desreving procces or remain to windows 8 rtm for the current laptop?

thanks in advance

If you are unsure that upgrading to Windows 8.1 is for you, please do not upgrade.

    1. No, it is not required that you update the BIOS.

    2. If you're going to upgrade, yes, uninstall these drivers before upgrading.  They seem to have some issues during or after the upgrade process.

Ultimately the decision to upgrade or not is in your hands.
