Hello there,

I think something went wrong with the Bios version 1.13 of Acer Aspire V3-571G. In windows 7 x64, I went to Windows Task Manager ->  Performance, there was only 2 CPU Usage History bars in the report. I double checked with dxdiag command, at the line Processor, it showed: Intel Core i7(TM)-3630QM CPU @ 2.4Ghz (2CPUs) 2.4 GHz. I downloaded CPU-Z in order to check the real core of i7, CPU-Z just showed me: Cores: 1 Threads: 2.

I went to BIOS setting by pressing F2  during the booting, there is no place to enable all cores.

Does any has the same issue? If you do, please share me your experience on how to fix this issue.

My system:

_Win 7 x64

_BIOS: InsydeH2O version 03.71.48.V1.13

Thank you very much.

    Hello,

I found out the fixing. Just keep you updated on how to fix this problem for similar case in future.

At Start button, type msconfig. Go to "Boot" tab, click "Advanced options" -> uncheck "number of processor".

    Reboot your computer.

    That's all.
