C710 dead screen, second time in several months.

I purchased a C710 exactly 3 months ago.  I used it for about a week, just sitting on my desk, before the system appeared to not boot.  I connected an external monitor and was able to determine that the LCD was dead.  I contacted Acer and about two weeks later had a shipping tag to return it to Acer.  I received the unit back last week, more than 2 months since contacting Acer about my broken notebook.   I charged the unit and attempted to boot, and again the LCD has failed the same way.  I can see that your techs replaced the LCD, because they broke the bezel in two places and scratched the top cover.  I called today and was told that the report is not back yet on what was done to my unit and Acer must wait a week to see what EMachines did to the C710.  I was promised a contact back in a week and just do not see why I must wait more weeks or months to get a working chromebook.   What can I do to get a working chromebook?
