W810 issues after reset

I reset my tablet back to default to get rid of a couple of issues with software I removed. I used the acer dvd I recieved with the tablet. This did not go back to the new out of the box tablet. I had drivers missing ans a alaunch error. I had to manual install drivers,delete the alaunchx program and turn off a "test drive" message in the corner of the screen. Several of the programs were not available. After a lot of hassle I still do not have a camera ans the tablet seems to be using much more power. It used 1/4 the battery in an hour od run time. When I push the slwep button the tablet screen seems to go gray not black, like a light is on aroun the edges.

Any hints or suggestions would be appreciated. How can I get this back to new? The battery use is a huge concern. The long battery life was a big plus.

If the is a W510-810 then go to the support/drivers page, select "all" and not "newest" then download and install the earliest set of drivers (2.04 ?). That should bring it back to "as delivered". Then you can elect whether to update.
