    Hello!

You can try to contact Acer directly by phoning them and speaking to an operator. Go to Acer Support for your region and click on the "Contact Us" button. This will display ways of contacting them.  You can then ask directly if there are recovery disks for your model.

If, for some unknown reason the disks are not available, you can do the following (I'm presuming you have Windows 7):

MAKE SURE YOU'VE BACKED UP ALL YOUR FILES/DOCUMENTS ETC BEFOREHAND!

    1. Go to Acer support and click on the "Drivers & Manuals" section, enter your PC model and download ALL the drivers & applications for your exact OS. Burn them to disk or memory stick.

    2. Download the EXACT same version of Windows here, and burn the image to a blank DVD.

    3. Use the disk to Install Windows 7 on your laptop. Use the product key, on the base of your laptop, when Windows asks for it. Make sure you type the number carefully.

    4. When installed, use your other disk or memory stick to install the drivers & applications.

    5. Make sure that Windows is activated. It should do it online, but if there are any problems, you can call Microsoft to help activate it.

    6. Download all Windows Updates, your programs & Anti Virus software, and finally all your documents etc.
