Aspire V5-552G crashes, what's next?

Hi, I was wondering If you could guide me in what I should do next.

Recently, I decided to buy this laptop during August for college.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834314119

At first When I got it was fine and worked really well, however I noticed that the laptop crashed often, most of the time when the charger was plugged in. It crashed regardless of what powerplan I had. This crash required a hard boot and the screen freezes, no blue screen. There was no sound out of the speakers, but having headphones and earphones plugged in allowed you to hear the sound. Other times I would hear a loud buzzing sound before stopping.

I noticed something strange with the crashes, I crashed a lot whenever I had just started my computer, whether or not I was browsing the web, playing games or doing homework. But putting it to sleep and opening it again, the laptop never crashed. Though the time varies when it crashes, It could be a few minutes after opening the computer to a few hours.

At first I thought it might be a overheating problem, but I usually get 25C idle, 40-50C on browsers and 55-70C(Rarely goes above 70C) when playing games. It crashed regardless of the computer's temperature and what I was doing, browsing the web or just moving the cursor around my desktop.

It seems that whenever I put the computer to sleep, AMD's Turbo Core shuts down, limiting my laptop to 2.1Ghz and stopping the freezes. So I assumed that Turbo Core was faulty.

On a side note, alt tabbing to another application that is fullscreen, sometimes seems to hang my computer, requring a hard boot, I can hear music and sound on headphones(not on computer speaker), but all I see is a black fuzzy screen, like a TV.

I'm currently on Windows 8, not planning on upgrading to 8.1 yet.

What should I do now or how can I fix it?

Thanks.

    Hi Sokher02!

Sounds as if your laptop has developed a hardware problem. As it is still under warranty, the best thing to do is to contact Acer support for your region, and they can arrange a repair.

Ah okay, thanks for the help,  is there a way to backup all the data I have in this laptop and how do I ask for a repair?

Yes, back up your documents/pictures/videos etc to a USB hard drive/memory stick or even blank DVD's.

To contact Acer Support, go to the Acer website, click "Get support", then click contact Acer. You will find ways of contacting Acer, or even live chat with someone.

If you want, you can even contact Newegg and click on the options in the left hand pane.
