Hi all

Is it possible to remove the recovery partition on acer aspire 5740g? If yes - can it be done via Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit interface?

Appreciate any replies

Cheers

    yes, it's possible to delete the recovery partition

    control panel->administrative tools->computer management->storage->disk management

    or try this free software

    Ok to add? If you do remove the partition, be sure to have a backup, either on disks or a flash or other drive of some sort. Otherwise you will be up the creek if you need to do a clean reinstall in the future. You likely could buy disks at that time from Acer, but you can be sure they won't be inexpensive.

    You can find out the price of erecovery disks by going on the website you'll need to give unit model info etc.
