welcome.
My problem is that I failed power even when it is updated to bios and had no battery in it.
I made crisis mode operation with a CD, now starts but its screen and keyboard does not work so I use my monitor and another keyboard.
What else can I do to recover?
I have Acer Aspire 5742ZG-P613G32Mncc. Can not find any good bios for this laptop are many variations 5742ZG.
I would be grateful if someone would help me to fix your laptop without having to send it to a service.

Sorry for the grammar.

The BIOS image files are available on the Acer website under your model. You'll need to uncompress the file and use it, but a crisis disk isn't going to help you. You'd need to load the file onto the root of a blank USB drive and start the computer while holding FN and ESC. Hate to say it but chances are that you're going to have to send it in.

So I have to put everything on a USB stick containing the DOS folder? After I put it on a USB stick and make operation with FN + Esc laptop should work without problems?

No, you need to put only the .fd file in the root of the USB with nothing else at all. Then you plug it in to your USB (preferably non USB 3.0) and press and hold FN and ESC. Now boot the unit and hold the two buttons for 30 seconds. The .fd file is in the zip file you download from the Acer site. Just dig around the zip file or search for it. It will take ~ 5 minutes to install and you won't have anything on the display. If you want to be sure it's working you can use a USB key with an activity light. If it's flashing you know it's reading the drive at the very least. If you can't get it working you may need to download another version of your BIOS.

You may also need to rename the .fd file to NEW70X64.fd

    Good luck!

I tried 3 times the process and I left for 15-20 minutes each time, the USB light blinking but the screen was all black's try with older BIOS version?

Try the earliest version you can find. If you're not able to get it to work you're likely going to have to send it for repair.
