Acer Iconia W700 i3 - VISUAL NOVEL PROBLEM

Hi, the following issue:

 

When I play older VNs I get the problem of having a very small screen (well high resolution screen and old game... I know). But if i switch ingame to fullscreen, the ingame screen keeps it small size and the rest of the screen gets black. 

 

My tablet: 

Acer Iconia W700
Intel Core i3
64 GB
Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000
Windows 8, 64 bit, up to date

 

I already tried various compatibility modes and options (XP, 98, admin rights, scaling, colors...), i have the actually CCCP Codecs installed, got DirectX 11. I even changed the screen resolution and that seems to work until I change ingame to fullscreen, then I have the same problem as before. I even played with the Intel graphic driver scaling options.

 

Note: On my Windows 8 Pro, 32bit, Desktop PC, the games are working fine and fullscreen is how it should be.
