Want a refund

I have an Acer laptop SNID: [edited for privacy]

It stopped working within two weeks.  I called for a warranty fix.

I was told through Acer phone support that I needed to buy a $48 system restore flash drive.

Using restore flash drive did not fix the problem.   Now I am told by Acer that I need send it to Temple TX for warranty.

I sent computer via UPS today.

I want a refund of the flash drive, as I should not need to buy more products to simply have Acer honor their warranty.

How do I get a refund?    (I know that Acer says software is not refundable, but I was compelled to buy it under fradulent circumstances.)

    Hi aronsohn

The USB restore flash drive is worth keeping - this will restore your computer to "factory condition" if you encounter any further problems. I agree that $48 seems a bit much, but there is an option in Windows to make one yourself for when things go wrong!
