hard drive software

hi all my son has broken his hard drive i want to reinstall a new hard drive but would like it to be as the same as when i bought it from new with a factory image on it is this possible thanks

    You will need to have the recovery disk(s) for that model. If you do not have go to store.acer.com and select eRecovery. You will have to fill in the information about your model.

    i have rebooted with new windows and am currently adding the drivers when this is done i will create a recovery disk i was hopeing i would be able to create a revovery partition so i can reboot direct from hard drive exactly like it was when i bought the computer thanks

    I too, think it would be a good idea, if Acer would allow you to back up your recovery partition as well as making recovery disks!

     

    The only alternative is to use partition/drive copying software. Of course, this is no use to you when the original hard drive is damaged...!
