S7-392 Touchscreen issues

Just purchased a refurbished S7 off Amazon and I love it but with one annoying flaw/defect/possible driver issue. When I let the screen sit for a few minutes without touching the computer at all, the screen occasionally acts like it is being touched in fast repetitive motions only on the left hand side of the screen and it will scroll around the page by itself, or swap to the start screen then zoom in and out, and even got stuck in a zoomed out position earlier today. Touching the touchpad doesn't do anything but as soon as I touch the screen, it stops and does not do it again for a while. Used the computer for about 30 hours and only had this happen 3 times, and while not terribly annoying a brand new laptop should not be doing this. On another note I only noticed it after installing Windows 8.1, but that is not saying much because I installed it a few hours after getting the laptop. I really hope this is a fixable driver issue, although it being only on the left hand side of the screen makes me think its hardware.

    Hi Colt1911

Contact Amazon to see if they can help. It appears there may be a fault with your new laptop. Alternatively contact Acer Support for further help (go to website & click on the support link).
