A500 and A110

I have an A500 and an A110. I have recovered both of them using this method. It works for me, and that's all I can say.

1. Start with you're tablet off

2. Holding the volume key to down, press and hold the start key.

3. After a few seconds. release both of the buttons. (After a few seconds, my tablet screen shows a very slight illumination, that's when I release my keys. That's mine, it may be different for yours??)

4. After a few more seconds, maybe 10, a warning screen comes up and tells me not to turn my tablet off or reset it.

5. The screen in step 4 is replaced with a boot option menu system using the start key and the volume key to navigate the menus.

6. The safest choice is to choose reboot and press the start key.

7. The reset to factory defaults choice erases any data you had, and sets your tablet back to factory defaults, but at least it should come back on.

8. Using this last ditch selection, you have to start right at the beginning. Name, wifi, time, date------yada yada.

9. Oh yes using the step above you get a confirmation screen with a line of No's and a single Yes. you must scroll to the Yes and press the start one more time--

Good luck--Denny
