Acer ICONIA Tab A700-10k32u 10.1-Inch Tablet (Black) Will Not Boot

A700 was plugged in and charging.  I went out for a few hours and came back and it was making the little mechanical groan that it makes when you turn it on.  ACER was blinking on the screen.   I tried to get the screen to come up by tapping it to no avail. I shut it down and then tried rebooting, it makes the right groaning noise but goes back to the green flashing ACER.  I tried reboot or soft reset with the small reset button to restart.  I used a small paper clips to press the button beside USB Port. That did not work.  I then tried pressing the Volume Up Button + Power Button for several seconds when  it groaned (vibrated)  I released the power button, then pressed the switch lock to on and off several time while still holding the Volume Up Button key.  That didn't work either.  I pulled the MicroSD card out and tried all of the above again, multiple times.  I tried with the unit plugged in and unplugged.  I'm stumped.

Any ideas??

    hi....

It looks like you're in the US and if you have a unit from US or Canada unit you can go to our get support page and head into the Fix my Acer section to place a warranty request if your tablet is in warranty.

You ay also live chat with an Acer technician at : http://acer.custhelp.com/app/chat/chat_launch/
