I just bought, pick up tomorrow, an Aspire AT3-600-UB308.  I'd like to know exactly what the "AT, 600, UB308" stands for?

As far as what all that means, AT3-600 is the model, the 600 has some meaning, but generally the higher it looks like the better the specs (that may not be an absolute). The UB308 gives that specific build it's uniqueness and that is recorded internally. While I don't know exactly how the system works on this unit, it is not the same for every system, but to the teams that build, plan, and sell them, it is how they identify which units are which.

Thanks.......unfortunately all of this probably means far more to the designers than to the customer and it appears it's their "inside" joke.........only they know!
