AcerV5 and V7 completely confused.

Okay I know there is the V3, V5, and V7 series.  I am totally baffled as to the difference between the 3, especially as I see V3s sometimes being more than V5s etc.  I find the whole naming and numbering system ludicrous too.  I also keep finding wholly different models in some places over other places etc etc.

 

For example What is the actual difference between the V3, V5, and V7?  Where can I buy one according to my spec as local stores do not have the models I want or the know how.  I am in the UK.

 

I am looking for a replacement to my 5920G.  A brilliant laptop that has served me well.  It must be at least 15.6 inches. Full HD, Touch Screen.  IPS.  Other options are available and I can look at them too.  I have seen this V7 model on the US site but cannot find it here in the UK for example, and have no idea of it's UK price.  I also do not understand the designation.

Is this the very latest model?  How can you even tell?  As I see older models being sold also.

 

Is there a V5 equivalent here?

 

I would really appreciate some help on this as Acer have not helped me directly and nobody else on the internet seems to really know either.
