Acer Iconia W700 - Cant find additional drive partition after recovery

Hi all,

Before I did the recovery using Recovery CDs, I have two partitions in use (C drive and D drive). During recovery, I couldn't select the option to format everything as the system requested me to delete something first. Hence, I selected the option to recover system drive only (C drive). After recovery, I can't access D drive but I can see the the partition and allocated volume in Disk Management.

Appreciate if someone can help me out in getting my D drive back. Thank you.

Just some thoughts I'm not familiar with the 700 specs.  Does the partion have a drive letter?  If not you may need to assign it.

My 700p does not have a d ... recovery partition.

Can you get into the recovery system ... maybevthe recovery was put onto c somehow.

    Hi exscentric,

Thanks for your solution. It works Smiley Happy I couldn't right click on the partition in disk management, so I tried Command Prompt and successfully assigned letter to it. Thanks again.
