Hello

I just read this on amazon reviews:

"Even if you put in SD card you can't used it as external space to install various programs, because Windows don't allow that."

Is it true that you can't use the SDcard as an HDD to install windows program files? What is the purpose of the SDcard then?!

Don't know where they got that idea, can even put the pagefile.sys there though it is not recommended since it is considered a removable drive. I put the maps for my Sat-Nav and all data files there.

Am am using a 64GB SD in my W3 right now and it does everything I ask of it

Suspect they were talking about an iPad - Apple considers memory to be a profit center so limits external memory to video, music, and photos. That is why iPads do not have an internal SD card socket.

For me I consider the lack of an SD card socket to be a disqualifier for any tablet.

okay thanks I dont know either where they got it from, I am considering to buy this one and read that review and got me on hold. So I can install .exe files on my 32gb SDcard without any problems?

I will be getting office with the tablet, I can install office on the SDcard?

You can but I wouldn't. Personally install all programs on the internal drive. I just have a 32GB W510 and with pretty much the kitchen sink added there is about 9GB free on C. That way I can swap SD cards as needed.
