My Aspire one notebook stuck in boot loop

Hello,

I want to restore my acer aspire one notebook (Model #ZG5) to factory default settings. I started the erecovery from windows and my computer re-started. There is a loading screen, then a message saying

'File usbhub.sys caused an unexpected error (4149( at line 6514 in d:\srvrtm\base\boot\setup\setup.c.
Press any key to restart windows'

When I press a key it goes through the same process until I arrive at this screen once again.

How do I escape this loop and restore my computer back to default settings?

Many thanks!

It sounds like the installation of that driver may be having an issue due to hardware.

Are you reinstalling from optical media or from the hard drive?

Thanks for the info. I'm installing it from my hard drive. I'll read the link you left me, try any strategies it may have and report back. Many thanks for your response!

I have read the instructions you linked me too. My computer will no longer go into windows at all. I started the recovery process from windows, now it is stuck in a boot loop. Is there perhaps some way to cancel the erecovery process?

Also my notebook does not have a cd/dvd drive. Can I get erecovery software on a usb drive and use it from the boot menu (the one I can acess before window loads?)

I would suggest using the recovery method outside of Windows, using Alt + F10.

How do I restore my computer using the eRecovery Management program outside of Windows?
