Power button on the Acer dcr 60000:1?

Please pardon my foolish question, but as I've lost my owners manual, and I have looked all around the monitor itself (Acer dcr 60000:1) I cannot find the power button on it!  I'm assuming it has one, my other monitors have always had one.  Again, please pardon my ignorance on this...and thanks a lot for any help (I am actually not as computer illileterate as it might appear).

Glad to help, but unfortunately you didn't list the model name/number of your acer monitor - 'dcr' stands for dynamic contrast ratio...it refers to a specific statistic or quality of all monitors. You should know that 60,000 is pretty good, but there are currently no acer monitors on the market that exhibit that exact number, so it doesn't help in figuring out exactly what monitor you have.

The location of the power button is fairly universal, though, as far as monitors are concerned. It's most definitely on the bottom right of the panel (to specify, not on the stand or the actual screen, but the panel surrounding the screen). If it's not on the face (assuming it isn't as you can't see it), it's likely on the edge - take you finger, and feel around the bottom right corner; you should feel a button.

If not, try posting some more technical information on the monitor (everything readable on the back would be a good start).
