Have a question about the memory rams. I know that right now on the motherboard of my desktop that there are 2 x 4 GB 1333MHz SDRAM 10600 which are a total of 8 GB. I am planning to get better memory rams with 2 x 4 GB 1333 MHz SDRAM 12800 and eventually will get two more. Before putting the memory rams on the motherboard and I know that I will have to take out 2 x 4 GB 1333MHz SDRAM 10600 out of two memory ram slots. Then put the new memory rams in the same two slots where the other rams were on the motherboard. Now hear this stupid question about the memory rams -- Someone told me that You can have two new high end memory rams and two low end memory rams that are already on the motherboard. I told him that is not a good idea to have two low end and two high end memory rams together to run the computer. It would be better off to take the rams out which is already on the motherboard and put two new high end rams on the same slots that the low end rams out. Is that correct??  By the way my desktop have 4 memory ram slots and can go up to 16 GB in total.

Your help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

John
