Sooooo disappointed with my ACER TAB

I bought ACER units for years now and was OK with them until now. Bought a NEW unit from ACER off line unit arrived and straight out of the box it would not set up. Called acer went through the usual spill with someone I could hardly understand. Got a number to send it back to repair center. Packed it in a double wrap envelope mailed it, it was returned because I used the US Postal Service(?). That day took it straight to UPS sent it again. Got a message back from repair that the LCD screen was cracked nothing they could do under warranty. ACER has just lost a good customer and I'm spreading the work. All of this was so unnecessary if you had only fix the brand new unit. Its apparent the QC for your new units is non existent and customer service after the sale is none caring.
