Z7551 BIOS upgrade question(s)

I can see on the following page:

in the bios section, various downloads...

 

Currently, the BIOS is identified as P01-A0 and I'd like to know if I upgrade to P01.A1 can I run Windows 8 via UEFI BIOS, or would I need the P11.B0 version, since it says "not for upgrades" so what does this mean?

 

Also, I do not understand what  Ivy MB/no Ivy MB support means and how it relates to what I have in terms of hardware.

 

The last version, P03.A2 says "BIOS for device with Ivy Bridge supported" that seems to be at odds with P03.A1 which says "Support Ivy MB" however P01.A0 says "No support Ivy MB" so which one do I download because the updgrade assistant tool rebooted the system but did not upgrade the firmware.

Can you please specify which product you have with a complete model name? 

"Z7551" doesn't bring up anything on the drivers page.

 

We do not support changing a BIOS to UEFI if the system did not ship with UEFI, nor is it needed to install Windows 8.
